I have just discovered
Google Transizzle. It translates any web page into gangsta speak (yes, I have too much time on my hands!!). Anyway, in light of the hip hop concert I am performing in this weekend, I plugged in my latest blog post (the one about refashioning some shorts and visiting Santa) and the results were hilarious. Trust me, you will never read nerdy sewing posts in the same way again!
You can see it by clicking 'read more' below, but please beware of bad language! This is intended purely as a bit of fun and I do not want to offend anyone. If you do want to read on, it's worth reading the comments at the end!
Once you've read mine, translate your own blog. Go on, yo know yo wannit, straight up.
BAD LANGUAGE ALERT.
THIS IS NOT HOW I USUALLY TALK!
BOUT ME

Hi, I be Meg. I live ta create, muthafucka! I sew, craft, paint, print...whatever takes mah fancy on tha day, straight-up yo. Have a wander all up in mah B-ta-tha-L-O-Gizzay ta peep what tha fuck I've been up ta lately and take a peek tha fuck into mah gang thuglife up in Perth, Westsideside Australia. There is fuckin shitloadz of tutorials n' ideas so hopefully some shiznit will inspire yo ass fo'sho. If it do, I would ludd ta hear bout it!
Quick fixes: DIY shortz update
I found these shortz durin a recent op shop hustlin spree fo' $5. They is done cooked up by Ghetto Road (read $$) n' is ghettofab qualitizzle so I had ta take em home, even though tha cut of tha legs was rather unflattering, ta say tha least.
I tried em on up in da crib n' played around wit pins n' elastic tied up in various ways down mah legs - rest assured I was up in tha sewin room, not a god damn thang kinky I promise, muthafucka! Eventually I decided dat a slimmer leg wit a ribbed cuff was tha way ta go. I have done dis before wit knit n' woven fabric (click on tha pictures below ta read all bout it) n' posted a
tutorial. I do like dis look on me, so I repeated tha procedure keepin tha leg slightly longer dis time.
Basically, what tha fuck I did was ta wear tha shortz inside up n' pin tha side seams up in ta where I wanted tha freshly smoked up seams. I took up in both side seams yo, but if one had had top-stitching, I would have only taken up in tha other n' left tha top-stitchin intact so it looked properly finished. Y'all KNOW dat shit, muthafucka! I then laid tha shortz up flat n' marked where ta sew tha freshly smoked up side seams, adjustin as necessary ta git both legs tha same. Once tha side seams was done, I just found matchin ribbin (I gotz a big-ass ribbin stash, also op-shopped n' always comin up in handy), cut it ta fit mah calf n' sewed it on as busted lyrics bout up in tha
yoga pantz tutorial.
Much improved shortz :)
I kept tha original gangsta hem on these as I dug tha detail. I top-stitched on tha shortz fabric side of tha cuff seam fo' a mo' polished finish. Itz hard as fuck ta peep up in these photos yo, but yo ass can just bout peep it here.
I wore these on tha weekend when our crazy-ass asses hit up Santa Land up in Myer, Perth. Father Christmas was straight-up impressed :)
It was a hot day, n' tha boys had a pimped out time playin up in tha freshly smoked up gin n juice playground up in tha hood...
...and yes, I done cooked up they swim shorts. Right back up in yo muthafuckin ass. Speakin of swimwear, I have finished mah freshly smoked up bathers n' is ghon be postin pictures as soon as I can git ta tha beach n' take some!

It's ghettofab ta peep yo ass all enjoyin tha summer, even if I find it a hard ta git mah head around tha possibilitizzle of dat shit. (Yo Ass do not wanna be up in tha UK muthafuckin right now, nahmeean?..)
